This is a very quick, heart-racing workout! Whether you are new to HIIT workouts, or you are a veteran, this is a great way to kick that heart rate up quickly.
You can use this workout…
…to increase your metabolism before a meal
…to be incredibly productive during your 15-minute work break
…to burn some calories during your child’s naptime
…to start your metabolism for the day (a quick morning workout)
…while on vacation (hotel room, guest bedroom…)
…while waiting to pick your child up from school
…to distract you when you just want to reach for that candy bar or hamburger.
Trust me, you won’t want those things when you finish!
You name it!
Do 5 rounds of the following for time. All of them will be on a 4 count:
“1, 2, 3, 1! 1, 2, 3, 2! 1, 2, 3, 3! 1, 2, 3, 4!,” etc.
In fact, try to beat 4:44 (my time).
If you post a better time, I’ll try to beat it, and we can keep going back-and-forth
trying to make one another better.
3×1 will end up being 4 “climbs” or 2 on each side
Do 3 squats. The 3rd squat is completed with jump – squat, squat, squat, JUMP!
Start in push-up position, thrust legs forward to shoulder width, back to push-up position, thrust legs forward again, push-up position again–that’s 1!
REMEMBER: You are doing 5 rounds!
