Aloha, Everyone! This is your ALOHA Review!
I have to tell you the truth – before they contacted me, I had never heard of ALOHA, but I’m really, really glad they contacted me! They actually just wanted me to share one of their recipes on my website, but after seeing their beautiful website and yummy-looking pictures, I was intrigued. After going through the process of ordering and tasting the product, I decided to do an ALOHA review.
I was not paid for this review, but I did receive the same free package of products that I am passing along to you here. I only paid shipping.

I know some of you only care about what it tastes like…
…so I’ll lead with that! Make sure to keep reading beyond that if you want to learn more about their ordering process, shipping time-frame, and customer service.
Superfood Chocolate ALOHA Review
If you’re thinking you’ll be biting into something similar to a Hershey’s when you nibble on an ALOHA Superfood Chocolate bar, you’re a bit mistaken. For some of you that’s disappointing, and for others of you it’s a relief! This bar is about $15 more than a Hershey’s bar, so it better be different, right?!
The chocolate’s bitterness is comparable other dark chocolate and/or high cacao content bars. I really like the slight bitterness. It’s not overwhelming, and you don’t need a ton of it to get your sweet fix. That bitterness will stay on your tongue for a while, though.
The chocolate actually has a slight fruity taste, which must be from the wild blueberries and raspberries in the Daily Good Greens Chocolate mix within the bar.
The texture of the Superfoods Chocolate bar is a little different than that of conventional milk, dark, and white chocolates. It’s is slightly grainy. Although this is a horrible comparison, because it’s not food, I’d compare the texture to sand dust. The bar is solid and sturdy, but when you bit into it and start chewing, you’ll find just that tiny bit of graininess within. It didn’t bother me, but actually made me feel like I was eating something different and more special, because it was unique.

Daily Good Greens ALOHA Review
I received 3 flavors: Original, Chocolate, and Berry. The taste difference between the 3 is really minimal and hard to notice unless you have all in water, so I won’t compare the different flavors. Instead, I’ll compare the level of enjoyment I experienced with the greens in 3 different liquids: Almond Milk, water, and a smoothie.
–Almond Milk: I used the berry flavor in this one. It was ok, but slightly grainy. I did shake it a lot, but got tired and just wanted to drink it. I didn’t mind it, and feel like it’d be a good addition to breakfast or a good snack between meals.
–Water: I used the chocolate-flavored greens for this test. It was bearable, but not very enjoyable, and I had to force myself to finish it. It tasted very earthy, which I’m sure some of you will thrive on. Again, it was grainy, but that might have been because I failed to shake it as much as I should’ve.
–Smoothie: I integrated the Original Daily Good Greens into my Strawberry Banana Smoothie, and it was great! It didn’t add any extra earthy flavor, and I felt good for drinking the extra greens. My 2 and 3-year-olds even had some, which is a great sign!

Customer Service
I noticed that the free trial had a stipulation: after the free trial, you roll into a subscription. So, after I put my free trial order through, I called ALOHA to cancel my subscription. I spoke to a very, very kind woman named Sharon. Sharon was creative! She offered me 40%-off the next month, which for me is a no-brainer to stick around. I told her that I was finishing up some other products and that I didn’t want the new shipment until I was finished.
Instead of saying, “Sorry, you have to have an order shipped in May,” she delayed the 2nd shipment until June. Beautiful!
Now, as nice as some customer service reps sound on the phone, you never really know what kind of person they are. Are they just putting on a nice show because of their job, or are they authentic? Well, I had the rare occasion of actually discovering how genuine Ms. Sharon was. I delayed hanging up the phone, because my hands were full, and immediately after finishing our conversation, I heard her in the distance talking to her co-workers about my baby. In the sweetest tone of voice, she said, “She has a new baby!” It warmed my heart that she actually cared about my situation and even cared that I had a child in the background.
Big hugs to Sharon, and kudos to you in my ALOHA review!
2nd Shipment:
I was told this was going to be 40% off, but it didn’t come through that way. I called and it was quickly rectified. I then cancelled my auto ship. After a few months, I turned the protein powder and greens auto shipments back on! I’m excited to try them for a bit longer and see how it feels.
It is clean and stock full of nutrition – I’m not sure I can go wrong there.
