Most people know the “You’ve Been Booed/Ghosted” game, right?
I moved to this neighborhood last year in the Summer. Come October, WE GOT BOOED!!! I was so excited! How fun! I ran out to the store, bought some goodies, and BOOED two other neighbors (even though I wanted to do more). By Halloween, the neighborhood was filled with signs in windows stating that many, many homes in the area had been gifted with a little Halloween treat. SO FUN!
This year, in anticipation of getting BOOED in early October, I bought two decorative Halloween bags and filled them with little holiday goodies. I had them on my table for a while… then I moved them into a closet. I wasn’t BOOED on week 1, 2, or 3! WHAT?! In fact, I didn’t see anyone else in the neighborhood who was BOOED, either. Freakin’ pumpkin scrooges!
So, I decided to start the BOOED chain, albeit veeery late… only a little more than one week to go! However, I had extra goodies, so I had to!
The first thing I did was scour the Internet for the instructions and the door signs. I found a lot of cute versions of the games, but all of them either required a purchase or wouldn’t download on a Mac! Are you kidding? You want me to pay you $15 on your Etsy shop for a simple design? I don’t think so.
So, I decided to gift YOU with some free “You’ve Been Booed” and “We’ve Been Booed” signs. Enjoy!
So, I opened up Photoshop and designed these simple instructions:

And then the “We Have Been BOOED” sign:
