To know and be known; isn’t that one of the best parts of marriage? Isn’t it what we hope for, deep down, when we get married? I believe it is one of the best and most important parts of marriage, but in the busyness of our lives, sometimes we stop connecting on that deeper level.
Here is a short quiz to see how well you know your spouse.
The Quiz
Answer yes or no to the following questions.
Do I know . . .
___Where my spouse would like to go on vacation?
___What my spouse thinks about his or her boss?
___The issues my spouse is dealing with at work these days?
___Exactly how my spouse spends his or her day?
___What book my spouse is currently reading?
___My spouse’s dreams for retirement?
___My spouse’s favorite restaurant?
___What my spouse would like for his or her birthday?
___What is the easiest way to get my spouse sexually aroused?
___If there are any celebrities my spouse admires?
___The last time my spouse changed his or her hairstyle or hair color?
___What my spouse’s favorite Internet sites are?
Scoring and Suggestions
9-12 “Yes” answers: Congratulations! You have weathered the craziness of life well, and are poised to have a fun, love-filled marriage.
5-8 “Yes” answers: Not bad. You have work to do to truly become intimate again, but there is still a good level of closeness between you and your spouse.
0-4 “Yes” answers: Your lack of knowledge about your spouse reveals that you’ve put your marriage on the back burner. If you don’t take quick steps to improve it, you face real troubles.

Darcy’s (Fit Foodie Mom) suggestion: take the quiz and double-check your answers with your spouse. Also, have your spouse take the quiz. Don’t be irritated at one another because you didn’t know something. Use this as an opportunity to grow closer to one another!
