Our Spring Body Back session is over, and I’m on a high! For one, the ladies did AWESOME and are so proud of themselves.
This post was first seen on FIT4MOM Front Range’s blog and is my 8th out of 8 posts documenting the journey to get my body back via the Body Back program with FIT4MOM Front Range. My experience is unique, because in addition to being a participant in the program, I’m also the instructor! It’s pretty awesome.
Here are some highlights:
One mama lost 12 lbs!
Two mamas lost 6.25 inches!
One mama improved 1 min, 52 sec on her mile time!
One mama improved 1 min, 18 sec on her front plank!
One mama did 28 more sit-ups than she did during the first assessment!

Final Weight: 148 – I hit my goal!
Body Back isn’t meant to be the end of the journey. Ideally, it’s a habit-changing process that allows the moms who go through it to be conscious about keeping their bodies moving AND the quality and quantity of food (fuel) they put in their bodies. This is what I achieved throughout the session.
What did I get from my Body Back session?

- Elimination of sugar addiction (YAHOO!)
- Coordination
- Confidence
- Camaraderie and new friendships
- Satisfaction with smaller portion sizes and healthier foods
- A distaste for highly greasy foods
- An addiction to Body Back!
What an invaluable experience for me as an instructor to be in it 100%. Most of the Body Back instructors within FIT4MOM Front Range have gone through the process themselves, which is why WE GET YOU, MAMAS! We love you, we get you, and we will always be here for you… we’ll even post our 1/2 naked pictures to the public in support of you. 🙂
