Have you ever wanted more from your cookie? Yeah, me too!
Here’s my latest experiment!
INGREDIENTS:
-Cookie Dough: you can make it from scratch, use a box mix, or use pre-made dough
-Peanut butter
-Marshmallow fluff (optional – it gets harder while cooking, so it isn’t as appetizing as pb, but it is still good!)
DIRECTIONS:
1) Form your peanut butter and marshmallow fluff into about 1″ balls with two spoons or a 1″ scoop. If you run the spoons or scoop under hot water and then dry it off first, it will be easier to get the pb and fluff off of them. Place the balls on wax or parchment paper. Freeze for at least 10 mins.
2) Form your cookie dough around the frozen pb or marshmallow fluff balls. You’ll want there to be about 1/4″ of cookie around the pb or fluff.
3) Place the balls on a non-stick (or greased) cookie sheet about 2-1/2″ apart or more. While cooking, the balls will slowly flatten into the cookies you see above.
Can you see that the pb stayed nicely in the center of the chocolate cookie and the marshmallow fluff broke through the top of the lemon cookie? That is why I recommend pb over the fluff, but do an experiment and let me know if you found a way to make it even better!
