Hey there! I’m Darcy, and I’m here to inspire you with the notion that you CAN have it all (without doing it all).
I’m a fitness professional, running coach, clean-eating connoisseur, United States Marine Corps veteran and mom of 3 awesome kids who know how to laugh at themselves (well, not the baby — he’s super serious). I created Fit Foodie Mom to give me a creative outlet after my second was born. Since then, I owned 7 locations of a popular fitness for moms franchise, I’ve trained hundreds of moms in fitness and (hopefully) inspired them to maintain a lifestyle of health and self-care, I’ve trained moms one-on-one to find their balance, I’ve made tons of quick and effective fitness videos, and I even decided to work full-time for one of my favorite companies!
Through all that, I felt it was important to maintain this blog, because I know moms need a friend to go to for advice like:
“How can I laugh at myself even when my household is sick and my dog is on a rampage?”,
“How can I love my body when I have a wrinkly, muffin-topped belly?”, and
“How can I eat healthy when my husband refuses to eat any vegetables?”
Shoot, Girl! I can help you with all of the above! I’m here for you. I love you. I am your friend through it all.
So… what can you expect from Fit Foodie Mom?
- Quick and effective workouts that leave you feeling energized, successful and svelte. <— have you ever seen that word written out?
- Delectable recipes that are also healthy.
- How-to’s for fun kid’s activities and parties (SO FUN!)
- Self-care and self-love mom-tivation (see what I did there?) so that YOU can be the best you. <– the one everyone loves!
